About Dr Larder

Dr Gary Larder has worked as a private consultant and medical specialist at Wickham Terrace since 1993. His special interest is the interaction between work and health. Dr Larder’s practice comprises 3 days per week assessing and treating private patients and 1½ days completing medicolegal assessments. Dr Larder is a registered medical specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency which governs the function of the Medical Board of Australia.

Dr Larder is a current accredited WorkCover Queensland independent medical examiner [from 18 July 2016]. WorkCover may require an independent medical examination to provide additional information or clarification on specific medical aspects of a worker’s injury.

Dr Larder is a current accredited State Insurance Regulatory Authority [SIRA]  assessor in NSW  independent medical examiner [from April 2017]. This is the body responsible for regulating workers compensation insurance, motor accidents compulsory third party (CTP) insurance and home building compensation insurance, in NSW.
